Board a comfortable bullet train and get whisked away to Xi’an where you will explore this ancient capital’s architectural  wonders, from pagodas to mosques to the best preserved old city wall in China. See the city’s most famous attraction, the Terracotta Warriors, and sample delicious Xi’an culinary specialties.

Travel Itinerary

  • Day 1:
    Beijing - Xi’an (D)
    • Depart from Beijing West Railway Station by bullet train to Xi’an.
    • (G651 Beijing West- Xi’an North 07:00-12:52)
    • Meet our local guide and transfer to your hotel
    • Start the sightseeing tour.
    • The Great Mosque of Xi'an. This mosque exhibits an interesting fusion of Chinese and Islamic culture. Built primarily in the Ming Dynasty, it's one of the few remaining mosques from ancient China.
    • Stroll around Muslim quarters
    • Dinner in a local restaurant.
    • Explore the city by yourself.
    • Overnight in Xi’an.
  • Day 2:
    Xi'an (B, L)
    • Breakfast at the hotel.
    • Explore the astonishing Terracotta Warriors and Horses which date back to the Qin Dynasty (3rd century BC) in the morning.
    • Lunch in a local restaurant.
    • Experience the craft of making mini Terracotta Warriors and Horses on the way back to city center.
    • Your works will be delivered directly to your hotel after it is baked by professional Terracotta makers.
    • Visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, built in the Tang Dynasty in the afternoon.
    • Overnight in Xi'an
  • Day 3:
    Xi'an – Beijing (B, L)
    • Breakfast at the hotel.
    • Visit Shaanxi Provincial Museum (closed on Mondays), a treasure trove of archaeological and historical artifacts that have been unearthed in Shaanxi.
    • Lunch in a local restaurant.
    • Stroll along the ancient city wall.
    • Transfer to the train station and take the high speed train back to Beijing.
