In recent years the beach resort of Sanya has begun to place itself on the international hospitality stage. As the host to Miss World and World's Strongest Man competitions, the tropical southern Chinese island is now home to world class hotel and leisure facilities that include some of Asia's best golfing. Enjoy a day on the lush 18-hole course by day and relax under a palm tree, cocktail in hand, by night.

Travel Itinerary

  • Day 1:
    Beijing/Shanghai – Sanya
    • Flight from Beijing / Shanghai to Sanya.
    • Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel.
    • Time at leisure or join an optional tour.

  • Day 2:
    Sanya (B)
    • After breakfast, transfer to the Sanya Yalong Bay Golf Club for one round of golf. Ideally located in the heart of Yalong Bay, this par 72 course designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr. stretches over 7189 sqm and is built in the shape of a dragon's claw. It is designed to challenge and entertain different levels of players from professionals to amateurs.
    • Transfer back to the hotel.

  • Day 4:

    • After breakfast transfer to the Sun Valley Golf Club for one round of golf. The Sun Valley Sanya Golf Resort nestles in a valley only a few kilometers from the Yalong Bay coastline. Its 27 holes, with generous fairways and daunting white sand bunkers, contrast sharply with the lush vegetation and mountainous backdrops. The course has three distinctive areas which all have their own characteristics: Desert Nine, Lake Nine, and Mountain Nine. Opened in October 2004, it was designed by renowned golf course architect JMP.
