Travel content

What might on the map appear to be two separate provinces, geographically Yunnan and Guizhou are linked by their location on the same plateau. From an area of high peaks and snow-capped mountains in northern Yunnan, the plateau descends downwards into the verdant, rolling hills of western Guizhou. With a route that takes in the majority of the plateau from the charming town of Dali in western Yunnan, via the province's vibrant capital Kunming and onwards to the valleys and karst landscapes of the less visited western region of Guizhou. Hiking and rafting mixed with stunning scenery makes this the great outdoors of China at its best.
