Casino and hotel operator, Kerzner International, has announced plans to develop and operate a new One&Only resort on Tufu Bay in Sanya, Hainan, China. With approximately 180 guestrooms and villas, the 40acre luxury resort is pencilled to open in early 2014. One&Only Sanya will offer a variety of world-class cuisine showcasing regional specialties in restaurants overseen by internationally-acclaimed chefs. The resort will also house a One&Only Spa, offering ancient Eastern traditions and holistic practices fused with modern spa therapies. In addition, meeting space will be available for bespoke gatherings. As with all One&Only properties, the resort will also boast innovative programming for families, including the KidsOnly Club and a host of sporting and entertainment facilities on-site.

This will be the first One&Only property in China, joining seven other exclusive properties in the global portfolio.
